Why study with the CISI?

For practitioners in Cyprus, our specialist qualification pathways in Wealth Management or Compliance and Risk are vital in gaining a competitive edge in the market.

Our globally recognised qualifications are designed, developed and reviewed regularly by senior practitioners to ensure they are relevant for the Cyprus market. The specialist knowledge you gain from taking a CISI qualification can be immediately transferred to your job role, whether that is business activities or client-facing advisory functions.

More than 40,000 of our exams are sat each year in over 100 countries.

Meeting the CySEC’s regulatory requirements

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) adopted the ESMA Guidelines for the assessment of knowledge and competence, which were applicable as of 3 January 2018.

In a recent circular, the CySEC sent a reminder to regulated entities about complying with these Guidelines.

If you are an Information Provider or a Retail Investment Adviser, we can help you meet your regulatory requirements through our ESMA-compliant qualifications.

Have you completed the CySec Basic or Advanced regulatory exam?

If you hold one of CySEC's regulatory exams, you can add technical skills to your knowledge by taking further CISI qualifications. We believe it is a combination of both regulatory and technical knowledge which professionals need to undertake their role, for example:

Training and testing
