Following a tremendous response from the financial planning community the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) returns to the iconic De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor on 8 and 9 October for the CISI Financial Planning Conference 2026.
This conference is the largest gathering of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals in the UK and is developed in collaboration with the CISI Financial Planning Conference Committee.
This year's agenda focuses on the issues shaping the profession today, including AI integration, attracting and training talent, as well as a practitioner led stream dedicated to lifestyle financial planning. The aim is to provide delegates with practical ideas, techniques and frameworks they can apply in their businesses and client relationships.
The conference offers 8 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and features a line-up of top keynote speakers, including:
- Leading voice in behavioural science, Rory Sutherland, Vice Chair of Ogilvy UK, who will be sharing his insights on the hidden psychological factors that shape financial behaviour.
- Internationally recognised storytelling expert from the USA, Matthew Dicks, whose session includes proven storytelling frameworks to build trust and deepen client relationships.
- Award-winning strategist, Founder and CEO of AI for Non-Techies, Heather Murray, who will delve into real-world cases and the top AI tools and prompts for financial planners.
- Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) CEO Dante De Gori® who will offer the latest global insights into financial planning while delivering an important update from the FPSB.
- Jamil Qureshi, a leading voice in performance psychology and TEDx speaker, performance coach and author, will explore what truly drives high performance under pressure and why it matters more than ever in financial planning today.
The conference will also include specialist breakout streams, workshops, networking opportunities and the annual CISI Financial Planning Awards ceremony, including celebrating CFP professionals while honouring individual and firm excellence across the financial planning profession in the UK.
