The Spanish office of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) has signed a collaboration agreement with the platform Finect, which makes it easier to compare, find and contract financial products and services.

The first outcome of this new alliance is the second edition of the event BIOS (Best Investment Opportunities Summit), which will be broadcasted live on October 19 and 20 at 4:30 p.m. with the participation of the main asset management firms from around the world, and with the support of the Institute too. With more than 45,000 members in 111 countries, the CISI is the not-for-profit, chartered professional body for those working in capital markets, wealth management and financial planning.

 First outcome

The director of the CISI in Spain, Rosa Mateus, remarked: “We are pleased to have signed this collaboration agreement with Finect, and we are very happy that its first consequence is the endorsement of BIOS II. We hope it will be the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship both for the users of the platform and for the members of the Institute”.

Mateus added: “The event will be broadcast in the original version (English) for the international audience and with simultaneous translation into Spanish for the local audience, with which we will potentially incorporate the 45,000 members of the CISI around the world to its target audience. Those who follow BIOS II will receive four hours of CPD after passing an aptitude test managed by Finect”.

Finect's senior global key account manager, Jaime Botín, stated: “It is a pleasure to sign this alliance with the CISI and to incorporate it to BIOS as a collaborator. We especially value its nature as leading professional organization in the industry and its international scope”.
