The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is delighted to congratulate the 49 exam candidates who successfully completed their CISI Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning narrative exam, sat in spring 2020.

The Level 6 Certificate in Advanced Financial Planning is the first step to achieving the Level 7 Diploma in Advanced Financial Planning, which leads to the highest global certification available to financial planners in the UK: the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification.

All those who were successful passed on their first sitting. It is the largest cohort who have sat the new, improved CFPTM certification pathway, following an extensive CISI review.

Jacqueline Lockie CFP™, Chartered FCSI, CISI Head of Financial Planning said: “We are delighted to congratulate these candidates who have worked hard to achieve this important step on their CFPTM journey. With 49/61 passing this exam, this demonstrates that, alongside the recent L7 successes, the new CFPTM pathway is achievable. The next step for these individuals is for them to move on to the Level 7 Financial Plan Case Study. We look forward to continuing to support them through the CFPTM certification process.”

The next Level 6 Advanced Financial Planning exam is in 2 September 2020. The standard closing date to register for that sitting is on 6 July 2020.
