Showpiece branch event enjoys rave reviews

A night at the theatre with a difference was staged by the CISI’s Birmingham & West Midlands branch.

The branch chose Birmingham Repertory Theatre as the venue for its annual dinner, attended by around 80 guests.

More than £1,150 was raised through a collection at the event for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The hospital treats more children with a wider range of health problems than any other in the UK.  It is running a £4 million appeal to improve its cancer care facilities.  Guests included Jamie Roberts, the hospital’s Major Gifts and Trusts Fundraising Manager.

At the dinner, Benedict Crabbe, Chartered FCSI, President of the Birmingham & West Midlands branch gave an update about the Institute’s local activities while Richard Bennett, CISI Regional Director, spoke about developments in member benefits.

A message of congratulations was given to more than 80 members of the branch who have achieved either CISI Chartered or Chartered Wealth Manager status.
