The IoIC Awards ceremony, held at London’s Park Plaza, was in recognition of “the best internal communicators from across the UK”. The CISI, together with its publishing partner, Wardour Communications, is delighted to be recognised as such, and to win the award for integrated print and digital content in the Review.
The award, which is for print and digital content produced between 1 January 2014 and 31 March 2015, is a ringing endorsement of the CISI’s decision last year to launch a digital edition of the Review to complement the print magazine. The digital edition has allowed the Institute to publish news and features on the financial services sector each week, while the print edition has continued to deliver the more in-depth, reflective articles which members have long valued and enjoyed.
Judges rated the entries from publications meant for an internal audience according to clear criteria in a “robust process to select only the best”. In picking the integrated media winner, judges looked for the entry that best explains why the publication uses its particular combination of tools, how those work together and how their effectiveness is measured.
Robert Merrifield, Chairman of the Review Editorial Panel, said: "I’m delighted that the hard work put in by the members of the Editorial Panel, contributors, the CISI team and our publishers has been recognised. It is particularly pleasing to see recent innovations including online content, academic research and the move to fewer, larger, hard copy editions rewarded."
