The Insights Review, produced by the Internal Consulting group (ICG) is out now. ICG is a global network of consultants, with the goal of aiding professionals in their career effectiveness and development.
The Insights Review is a collection of abstract reviews of relevant ‘open published’ perspectives and research reports. The abstracts allow you to scan quickly for the most relevant content, and include links to the full articles.
Each edition includes an ‘Article of the month’. The top article for September 2018 is 'Hidden costs of data breaches increase expenses for businesses’ (IBM). The abstract says that the cost of data breaches "have steadily risen to an average of US$3.86m per breach in 2018" and that "this report will help organisations looking for benchmarks for the costs of data breaches, including hidden costs, likelihood, how long it takes to identify and contain a breach, and the impacts of security automation and the use of Internet of Things".
