Cue Dennis Taylor at the CISI South East branch annual dinner 2018

Retired professional snooker player and current BBC snooker commentator Dennis Taylor shared a few interesting stories from his snooker days at the event, held on 11 October 2018 at The Spa Hotel, Tunbridge Wells


Dennis Taylor engaged an audience of over 70 guests with stories about winning the Grand Prix in 1984, 1985 and the Masters in 1987, plus other stories from his career.

Guests contributed £725 plus gift aid, in aid of Hospice in the Weald, which provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, their families and caregivers in West Kent and Northern East Sussex.

CISI South East branch president Katie Presland, Chartered FCSI said: "It was wonderful to have another successful evening in Tunbridge Wells bringing the local investment community together. To add to the night we had a great magician who wowed the guests. Very well done to all involved in organising such a great night."
