CISI signs MoU with Achievers Lanka Business School

Sri Lankan students’ potential careers have been given a boost by the new partnership

The CISI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Achievers Lanka Business School, the Institute’s newest Accredited Training Partner in Sri Lanka. The MoU was signed by the chief executive officers of the CISI and the school respectively: Simon Culhane, Chartered FCSI, and Faris Ismail.

Achievers Business School is one of the island’s leading educational institutes providing professional education in a range of areas. The ATP has partnered with the CISI to provide training in wealth management with the CISI Chartered Wealth Management qualification. This postgraduate level qualification aims to enhance employability, giving students that important career boost in the fast moving world of global financial services.  

Simon said: “With people living longer, they are more likely to need support to plan out their investments and retirement schemes. The need for qualified professionals who will feed the demands of a growing investment market is more crucial than ever. Qualified, trusted professionals are essential and the CISI Chartered Wealth Management Qualification can open the door to global opportunities for a bright career in this area.”

It is also supported by many leading local and foreign banks throughout the island.
