Donald Brydon CBE, chairman of the London Stock Exchange Group, spoke at the CISI's 25th anniversary dinner in London, which was celebrated in style at the Guildhall. He congratulated the CISI for establishing itself as the international standard of excellence for financial services professionals. He also emphasised the key role integrity and accountability plays at the core of leadership and administration of financial markets on an international basis.

Around 335 guests contributed £2,549, excluding gift aid, towards the Lord Mayor's Appeal Charity.

Some of the top table guests at the event were: Chief Executive Officer of Quilter Cheviot, David Loudon, Chartered FCSI; member of Monetary Board, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Nihal Fonseka MCSI; Chairman of Barclays, John McFarlane OBE FCSI; Chief Executive Officer of The Scottish Parliament, Sir Paul Grice; and Chairman of HSBC, Douglas Flint CBE FCSI(Hon).

The event was sponsored by the London Stock Exchange Group, without whom it would not have been possible. If you would like to support future dinners, please contact nikki.macmillan@cisi.org.
