There is always something which I can take from the conference which changes how I work or how my firm works.

Robert Dimbleby, Paraplanner, Harrison Beale & Owen Financial Services

The conference was the best I've attended. Very well organised, I learned a great deal and truly loved listening to every single speaker. The atmosphere was energising and it felt exciting to be a part of what feels like an upcoming movement and recognition of paraplanners.

Karen Beckley, Paraplanner, Mazars Financial Planning

Highlights from the CISI’s Paraplanner Conference 2017

With two-days of engaging paraplanning-led content, offering a variety of sessions, expert speakers and fantastic networking opportunities, there was no surprise that attendees had come from far and wide to join the ‘league of extraordinary paraplanners’.  Attendees learnt about the latest paraplanning views and best practices, which included: paraplanning for later life, suitability and disclosure, the future of ethical investing, pensions, report writing, due diligence on platforms, trust and tax planning, and cashflow modelling.

Mandy Hickson, the UK’s first female fighter pilot, closed the conference with a truly inspirational session on ‘being extraordinary’. Attendees left the conference feeling inspired to be extraordinary paraplanners with lots of new ideas to take back to the office.
