Frank O'Riordan appointed President of CISI Ireland

Frank O’Riordan MCSI has been appointed President of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in Ireland.

Frank, a member of the CISI since 1999, has over 28 years’ experience in the Asset management and Funds industry.  He has held senior positions at Executive and Board level in financial services.  These include the roles of Chief Executive, Chief Investment Officer, Executive Director, Chairman of the Board and Head of Risk in AIB Investment Managers Ltd and AIB Fund Management Ltd.

He is a Director and Trustee of a major Pension Scheme, serves as Chairman of an Investment sub Committee and is Chairman of an Irish domiciled Alternative Investment Fund and UCITs company. He has provided extensive consultancy advice and serves Advisory Boards to both asset management and funds management companies. 

Frank is also a key note speaker at both Irish and European investor conferences.

Commenting on his appointment Frank stated that: “A key objective for the CISI in Ireland is to provide members with internationally recognised and accredited courses which I believe will give them the edge in furthering their careers in a global industry while continuing to foster the continued growth of the financial services industry in Ireland”.
