In school and thinking about a career in financial services? You could consider applying to take the Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance, available to those aged 14–19. You could also encourage your school to partake in teaching financial capability, a scheme offered by the Personal Finance Education Group (pfeg) and supported by the CISI.

If you have already started thinking about your career in financial services, the CISI will give you an insight into this industry.

In College

In college and looking for a career in financial services? Consider taking the Introduction to Investment: The Foundation Qualification. This is currently being offered in a number of colleges around the UK, with some colleges offering the option of work placement schemes with top investment banks.

In University

Did you know that, on passing a CISI-recognised Masters programme at one of the universities selected by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) as Centres of Excellence, you will be eligible for the award of the CISI Diploma (now known as the CISI Masters programme) without having to take any of the CISI’s own exams?

The CISI has also set up, with these Centres of Excellence and other educational establishments with which we have close links, an Educational Trust for the awarding of scholarships.
