Professional Refresher is a training solution to help you remain up-to-date with industry developments, maintain regulatory compliance and demonstrate continuing learning. This popular online learning tool allows self-administered refresher testing on a variety of topics, including the latest regulatory changes.

There are currently over 45 modules available which address UK and international issues.  Modules are reviewed by practitioners frequently and new topics are added to the suite on a regular basis.

At the end of each module there is a voluntary test which will help you to determine how much knowledge you have gained.

Use of Professional Refresher is automatically recorded on your CPD log as Active Learning under the CISI CPD scheme. The test can be used to satisfy firm and regulatory requirements and counts as Structured Learning under the RDR. CISI CPD time will be awarded once you have successfully passed an end-of-module test.

Professional Refresher and RDR

Certain Professional Refresher modules can count towards your retail investment advisers gap-fill requirements. However, advisers should note that not all modules count towards the gap-fill required for every transitional qualification. To ensure the correct modules are taken, please refer to the gap-fill guidance. For example, the Investment Principles and Risk module will not fill the gap for those holding PCIAM, IAC or LSE qualifications, as it fills some of the required gaps for another RDR transitional qualification.

Price

The full suite of Professional  Refresher modules is free to CISI members or £150 for non-members. Modules are also available individually.
