Restoring trust in the city
Integrity Resources is a single point of access to the ethical standards and advisory materials of a number of the major professional bodies. It exists to give help and guidance to anyone who is looking for a resource to help themselves, their colleagues or customers to understand their ethical responsibilities and to know how to live up to them.
The contents of the website have been provided by the professional bodies whose emblems are shown at the foot of this page. Although these organisations are based in the UK's City of London, their professional standards and qualifications are adhered to by hundreds of thousands of members world-wide.
Most of the materials are available to download free of charge, so start exploring this rich collection of wisdom and practical help. Tell your colleagues about it too.
Integrity Resources is one outcome from an initiative established by Alderman Michael Bear in his year as Lord Mayor of the City of London. The initiative aimed to recognise, encourage and embed best ethical practice in the marketplace, emphasising leadership, culture and behaviour among individuals and organisations. A team of volunteers from the business, academic and Livery communities in the City of London conducted original research among city workers and engaged with many professional bodies and senior business executives. They developed an action plan which will be announced at a Values and Trust Conference, to be held at the Mansion House on 27th October 2011.
