Members of the Institute enjoy access to a range of free professional benefits. With the ever increasing requirements to undertake continuing professional development (CPD), the Institute is committed to continually reviewing and expanding its benefits portfolio, particularly online CPD.
The CISI CPD scheme recommends that members complete a minimum of 35 CPD hours a year. To successfully meet this requirement, at least one hour must be logged in four learning types including Active, Reflective, Self-Directed and Development. The learning type for each benefit is indicated below.
The CISI's membership cards include a scannable barcode. When members attend a CISI educational event, their card is scanned upon arrival and the member's CPD hours are automatically added to their personal CISI CPD Log.
