Computer Based Testing Exam Results
Provisional results are provided at the end of your exam.
They are available online within 24 hours, but remain provisional for five working days after the date on which you took your exam.
These five days allow the CISI to conduct any investigation that may be necessary into any circumstances that may have affected your result.
Following these five working days, your certificate confirming your results will be posted to you.

Exam grades
PC Pass with Merit (within 10% of full marks) – not applicable to Certificate and IAD programmes
P Pass
F1 Marginal Fail (within 10% of pass mark)
F2 Fail
Certificates
Certificates cannot be dispatched until a candidate has completed a Qualification Registration Form.
Replacement certificates can be issued but will state that they are replacements. The fee for a replacement certificate is £30.
Performance Reviews
If you have failed your exam, you may find a performance review helpful. It will give you more information on how you can target your revision to improve your result next time.
They cost £30 but are free to employees of CISI Corporate Supporter firms.
CPD Scheme
Candidates participating in the CISI CPD Scheme will automatically be allocated the number of hours for the duration of the exam within 48 hours of the results being published.
A pass entitles the candidate to receive quadruple the exam hours, in recognition of the preparation for the exam.
